Episodic heavy drinking classified as consuming 60 grams of pure alcohol per drinking session at least once a week.
Odds ratio adjusted for age and education. It represents increased odds of episodic heavy drinking for each unit increase in the alcohol environment (alcogenic) factor score).
Alcogenic factor comprising a single factor from variables on alcohol outlets, spirits/wine/beer advertising, alcohol formally available 24 hours a day, and sum of cheapest mean cost of beer, wine and spirits.
