Abstract
The time course of changes in the capacity of synchronized yeast cells to be covalently immobilized was determined and interpreted as an indication of chronological changes in the cell's outer-wall proteins. Corroborative evidence was obtained indicating that these transient changes are dependent on protein synthesis and connected with the progression of the cell cycle through the late S and/or early G2 phases.Entities:
