Figure 1The segment that trusted the doctor based on comfort was predominantly rural women of older age and were of lower educational attainment and lower occupational levels. Those who trusted based on personal involvement were younger people with higher educational attainment and occupations. Persons with lower educational levels were those who trusted based on emotional assessment. Younger women were more likely to objectively assess trustworthiness of the doctor.
