Abstract
BACKGROUND: Illness perceptions have been found to change over time and following health care. Hence, addressing illness perceptions alongside existing health care interventions may be important for the sustainment of health gains following rehabilitation. The aim of this study was to measure the illness perceptions of patients receiving inpatient rheumatology rehabilitation and assess the association with aspects of health and outcomes at baseline, discharge and 12 months.Entities:

a Rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue disease, spondyloarthropathies.
b RD-IPQ is scored from 0 to 100 where 100 is worst possible illness perceptions.
c MHAQ is scored from 0–3; 3 is the greatest overall disability.
d NRS scales are scored from 0–10; 0 is no pain and fatigue,10 is the worst pain and fatigue.
