Abstract
BACKGROUND: The EQ-5D is a generic questionnaire providing a preference-based index score applicable to cost-utility analysis. This is the first study to validate the EQ-5D in patients with somatoform disorders.Entities:

| 21232 | 8 (2.7%) |
| 11223 | 7 (2.4%) |
This table lists all health states which were reported at least five times among all respondents. Hence percentages do not sum up to 100%. There was one missing value for the EQ-5D self-classified health state (n=294). *1 – no problems, 2 – moderate problems, 3 – severe problems.
