Abstract
With the advent of effective antiretroviral therapy (ART), the recognition and management of long-term complications of HIV infection and ART are increasingly important for HIV physicians. Low bone mineral density (BMD) is more common in those with HIV infection and this review will outline therapeutic options for the management of low bone mineral density relevant to HIV-infected populations.Entities:
