Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Many Americans fail to accurately identify themselves as overweight and underestimate their risk for obesity-related diseases. Comparison group was low perceived risk. Participants diagnosed with diabetes (n = 92) were excluded from this analysis.
Participants diagnosed with heart disease (n = 57) were excluded from this analysis.
