Abstract
PURPOSE: Few studies have examined the association between physical activity (PA), measured objectively, and adolescent depressive symptoms. The aim of this study was to determine whether there is an association between objective measures of PA (total PA and time spent in moderate and vigorous PA (MVPA)) and adolescent depressive symptoms.Entities:

Independent effects of total PA and the percentage of time spent in MVPA and depressive symptoms amongst 14-year-old adolescents
| Physical activity measures in the regression model | Results from two separate regression models examining the association between either total PA or percentage of time spent in MVPA and depressive symptoms | Including total PA and % time in MVPA in one regression model to examine independent effects of these variables (mutually adjusted) | Fully adjusted estimates using MICE to impute missing data ( | |||||||
