Abstract
The activity of recombinant gamma interferon (rIFN-gamma) in combination with either pyrimethamine or clindamycin was examined in a murine model of acute toxoplasmosis. Mice received either pyrimethamine or clindamycin alone or in combination with rIFN-gamma. Significantly increased survival and/or time to death was observed in animals treated with pyrimethamine or clindamycin in combination with rIFN-gamma compared to those that received treatment with any of the agents alone.Entities:
