The plot shows the relation between N-acetyltransferase (NAT1) acetylation status (slow or rapid) and bladder cancer risk (data from Sanderson et al. [20]). The classification of acetylation phenotype is made either directly, by measuring the metabolism of a probe drug, or indirectly, by measuring the genotype associated with that phenotype.
