Abstract
A metal-triggered self-assembling collagen peptide was designed and synthesized to generate fibers through a radial growth mechanism. The assembly of the fibers was made possible through the placement of a bipyridine ligands within the center of the triple helix and was triggered by the addition of Fe(II).Entities:
