Abstract
Computerized electrocardiograms recorded on 46,950 male veterans were analyzed to demonstrate the prognostic value of T-wave amplitude in a general medical population. There were 3,926 cardiovascular deaths over 6 years. Multivariate survival analysis allowed the development of a T-wave amplitude graphic that provides clinicians with a simple method of estimating the relative risk for cardiovascular mortality from T-wave amplitude in limb lead I.Entities:
