Abstract
The coordinated efforts within Japan's Neuroinformatics Research in Vision (NRV) program to build a neuroinformatics portal for vision science in Japan, the 'Visiome' (Vision+Ome) Platform is presented. We introduce the general concepts underlying of the NRV Project and an example of a specific neuroinformatics study on the vertebrate retina, as developed in Visiome.Mesh：
