Abstract
A commercially available DNA strip assay was evaluated for the ability to differentiate Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex species. M. bovis subsp. bovis, M. bovis subsp. caprae, M. bovis BCG, M. africanum subtype I, and M. microti were unequivocally identified. M. tuberculosis, M. canetti, and M. africanum subtype II showed a unique hybridization pattern.Entities:
