Abstract
Acute nonlymphocytic leukemia developed in two patients who were treated postoperatively with cytotoxic chemotherapy. Both patients survived more than 4 years after the diagnosis of brain tumor, and both had extended periods of myelosuppression secondary to nitrosourea chemotherapy. Nitrosourea therapy may have facilitated the development of acute leukemia in these patients.Entities:
