Abstract
It was found that contiguous DNA segments of up to 50 kb can be transferred between Bacillus subtilis genomes when a sufficient length of the flanking genomic region is provided for homologous recombination, although the efficiency of transfer was reduced as the insert size increased. Inserts were translocated to different loci, where appropriate integration sites were created.Entities:
