[The lipid peroxidation status of psoriasis patients].

T I Trunina.

Abstract

50 patients with psoriasis had raised blood levels of malonic dialdehydes, diene conjugates, dieneketones, with the antioxidant system activity being inhibited as compared to the indices in controls. In psoriasis erythrodermia, psoriasis arthropica, association thereof, and in the progressive stage of the condition deviations from the norm in lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system activity were noted to be more significant than in common psoriasis in its stationary and regressive stages. Combined therapy involving the use of the enterosorbent sillard II and phytocollections promoted recovery in 28 patients, marked improvement in 16, improvement in 9 subjects.
