Abstract
A logistic regression model is used to study the association between a dichotomous exposure variable and a disease. The method takes into account factors that may confound the association and leads to a quantitative study of the influence of factors which are related to the strength of the association. Special results are given for matched pair data. A case-control study relating post-menopausal estrogen use and endometrial cancer provides illustration.Entities:
