Abstract
We report a case of craniocervical dural arteriovenous fistula with perimedullary venous drainage associated with cervical myelopathy in which spinal angiography showed a normal venous phase after injection of the artery of Adamkiewicz. We conclude that because of the complex venous drainage of the spinal cord, a dural arteriovenous fistula with spinal drainage cannot be ruled out solely because a normal venous phase is seen in the lower part of the cord, as has previously been suggested.Entities:
