Abstract
A 48-year-old woman with complaints referable to the biliary tract was treated by cholecystectomy. Morphological examination revealed a focus of the heterotopic pancreatic tissue (7 x 4 x 3 mm) situated within the gallbladder body wall. Microscopically, all the normal structures were found, i.e., secretory acini, ducts and scattered endocrine cells.Entities:
