Abstract
Databases for biologists are becoming increasingly important. Some of these can be regarded as 'core' resources, such as the bibliographic databases, whereas others are of greater interest to specialists. As comparative genomics develops, however, even databases limited in their scope (e.g. to a single organism) are of great interest to a wider community.Mesh:
