Experience with laparoscopy in the treatment of intussusception.

Abstract

Instead of proceeding directly to open surgery after failed hydrostatic reduction, the author has performed laparoscopy and found that laparoscopic reduction is successful in approximately half of cases. The remainder are treated by conventional surgery.
