Abstract
Prototheca wickerhamii is a rare cause of systemic infection in humans. While some cases occur in previously healthy individuals, others are associated with a variety of preexisting diseases. Here we present, for the first time, a case of P. wickerhamii algaemia in a patient with myasthenia gravis. The patient was successfully treated with amphotericin B.Entities:
