Abstract
We describe a case of spinal epidural hematoma in a 58 year old patient who suffered a myocardial infarction and was treated with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator. Computed tomographic and magnetic resonance imaging studies utilized, confirmed the presence of the hematoma. The main signs and symptoms in establishing the presumptive diagnosis and the essential contribution of magnetic resonance in confirming the diagnosis are mentioned. Finally, we review the bleeding complications due to thrombolytic agents and therapeutic prospects and prognosis in this pathology.Entities:
