Ketamine hydrochloride in severe bronchospasm.

Abstract

A boy aged nine years developed severe bronchospasm which was refractory to conventional therapy. The bonchospasm was eased by the administration of intravenous ketamine hydrochloride. The use of ketamine hydrochloride in the management of asthma is discussed.
