Abstract
To bridge a malignant stenosis after esophageal cancer recurrence two silicon-coated wall stents were inplanted in a 52-year-old patient within 6 months. Two weeks after the second stent was implanted, clinical examination showed dislocation of the prosthesis. Intraoperatively the two stents were found sticking in the side-to-side jejunostomy of a former Billroth II operation, leading to perforation there.Entities:
