Abstract
Successful results were achieved in three of four human cases of glottic, subglottic, and tracheal stenosis by using composite hyoid bone-muscle pedicle. A technique is used to create and interposition the grafts to widen the lumen and to provide structural support. The vital composite hyoid bone-muscle graft interposition technique offers a promising method for the solution of difficult cases of glottic, subglottic, and tracheal stenosis. Abandonment of previous long-term dilations is recommended in favor of early surgical restoration of a widened airway.Entities:
