Assignment of the gene for enolase to mouse chromosome 4 using somatic cell hybrids.

G G D'Ancona, C M Croce.

Abstract

Somatic cell hybrids between mouse peritoneal macrophages (MPM) and human fibrosarcoma cells (HT-1080) or Chinese hamster cells (A3) were analyzed by starch-gel electrophoresis for the expression of murine enolase. Data obtained indicate that the locus for enolase is on chromosome 4 in the mouse.
