Band keratopathy with bilateral deafness as a presenting sign of hyperparathyroidism.

Abstract

An unusual case of hyperparathyroidism is reported in which calcification of the cornea was the presenting clinical and diagnostic sign. Early recognition of this condition may be of lifesaving importance.
