Avulsion fractures of the anterior superior iliac spine in adolescents.

Abstract

We present two cases of traumatic avulsion of the apophysis of the anterior superior iliac spine after sports activity in adolescents. Non-operative treatment resulted in excellent functional outcome for this relatively unusual fracture.
