Interplay between Ras-related and heterotrimeric GTP binding proteins: lifestyles of the BIG and little.

G M Bokoch1.

Abstract

Directed interactions of heterotrimeric G-proteins coupled to receptors responding to extracellular signals and small Ras-related GTPases that control a variety of intracellular processes are being elucidated by recent work. We explore two of the most well-characterized pathways that couple big G-proteins to their smaller relatives.
