Abstract
Percutaneous needle biopsy of a transplanted kidney is indicated as a diagnostic procedure in the evaluation of unexplained deteriorated renal function after renal transplantation. This procedure is not always without complications. We report a case of a subcapsular hematoma and hypertension following a percutaneous needle biopsy of a transplanted kidney. The cause of hypertension in this patient and the management of the subcapsular hematoma are discussed.Entities:
