Abstract
While there is good agreement that the strabismic and/or anisometropic deficit in early life plays a key role in disrupting developing binocular connections, it is still not clear what impediment amblyopia is to binocular function in the adult. The answer to this depends upon our combined understanding of the normal stereo mechanism and the amblyopic deficit.Mesh:
