Abstract
Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder which predominantly affects young females. A variety of cardiovascular complications are described. These include lengthening of the QT interval and other electrocardiographic abnormalities, reduced left ventricular mass and impaired myocardial performance, mitral valve prolapse and sudden death. The incidence of these abnormalities and their relation to outcome are discussed in this article.Entities:
