Abstract
The author, in keeping with the data quoted in literature, confirms that a temporal pterygium is rare. Out of 1,388 Arab patients with pterygia, only 33 (2.4%) had temporal pterygia. The other statement, i.e. that temporal pterygium rarely occurs without a nasal one, is also confirmed. This was found only in one case (0.08%) out of the total number of people afflicted by pterygium.Entities:
