Treatment of transverse fractures of the patella by arthroscopic percutaneous pinning.

Abstract

Successful management of displaced transverse fractures of the patella is accomplished using an arthroscopically assisted technique. The morbidity is markedly reduced, i.e., surgery is usually same day and recuperation is accelerated.
