[Echomorphology of breast cancer].

Breast carcinoma presents with very heterogeneous histopathological pattern. According to the macroscopic growth pattern, we distinguish five different tumor types, each responsible for typical sonographic characteristics: intraductal, circumscribed, stellate, diffuse and intermediate/mixed pattern. The different echographic features of these malignancies will be analysed in relation to histomorphological parameters.
