Abstract
Long-term augmentation of the severely resorbed alveolar ridge with particulate hydroxylapatite (HA) has proved problematic. In this study, 70 patients were treated with a combination of HA granules and dense nonresorbable HA particles strung on a resorbable suture matrix. Fifty-five patients have been observed for 12 to 50 months. The combination technique has been successful in all but four cases.Entities:
