Abstract
Eighty cases of the gastro-intestinal form of alpha-chain disease had been reported up to the time of writing this communication (September 1975). All patients were non-Caucasians. This report presents a case of this in an Englishman who became ill whilst working the tropics. His clinical features and response to therapy were entirely in line with the other cases so far reported.Entities:
