Abstract
We have observed that respiratory virus infection of mice provokes an extremely persistent humoral immune reaction, due to a long-sustained population of antibody-secreting cells in the bone marrow. Theories of humoral immunity that strongly distinguish primary and secondary reactions thus may not adequately describe the immune response to respiratory viruses.Entities:
