Hilar and intrahepatic biliary enteric anastomosis.

Abstract

This article discusses the anatomy and surgical technique of high biliary enteric anastomosis for benign and malignant disease. Emphasis is placed on the approach to the left hepatic duct at the base of the liver and to the segment III duct within the umbilical fissure.
