Naloxone reversal of analgesia produced by brain stimulation in the human.

Abstract

The analgesia resulting from electrical stimulation in the periventricular grey matter at the level of the posterior commissure in the human patient has been reversed by naxolone. This finding raises the possibility that such stimulation is effective because morphine receptor cells may be activated.
