Abstract
The polysaccharide moiety of the O83 antigen (lipopolysaccharide, LPS) consists of D-glucose, D-galactose, 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucose, and D-glucuronic acid in the molar ratios 1:2:1:1.
