Abstract
This prospective, nested, case-control study investigated whether elevated plasma cellular fibronectin concentrations previously reported in preeclamptic women likely reflect endothelial dysfunction. In addition to higher maternal plasma concentrations of cellular fibronectin, we found higher levels of von Willebrand factor, tissue plasminogen activator, and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 in maternal plasma, providing biochemical corroboration of endothelial dysfunction in severe preeclampsia.Entities:
