Abstract
Although teasing is a common behavior of children, it does not occur without consequences in children. Children at particular risk are those with differing beliefs and feelings, distinctive personality traits, or obvious physical differences from that of the group norm. In these children, teasing can have deleterious effects on their psychological well-being. Strategies to use for assessment of and intervention with high-risk children are presented.Entities:
