Acquired immunity to Aspergillus fumigatus.

Abstract

In mice preinfected with Aspergillus fumigatus for greater than or equal to days, administration of cortisone failed to stimulate mycelial growth. The liver and heart of mice preinfected for 14 days resisted infection after a cortisone + conidia challenge.
