Ocular pathologic findings of chronic granulomatous disease of childhood.

Abstract

PURPOSE/
METHODS: To demonstrate ocular histopathologic findings of chronic granulomatous disease of childhood. The histopathologic results of two enucleated eyes from two patients with chronic granulomatous disease were studied using light microscopy. RESULTS/
CONCLUSION: Histopathologic changes in the eye specimens in patients with chronic granulomatous disease included multiple foci of granulomatous inflammation of choroid and sclera.
