Abstract
A patient presented with a urinary tract infection and soft tissue abscess caused by a type 3 S pneumoniae. This case is unusual in that both sites represent foci distant from the respiratory tract, the usual primary site of infection caused by this organism. No other primary site of infection was documented.Entities:
