Abstract
The use of a morbidity and therapeutic index in general practice is described. The system can monitor practice activities, morbidity, prescribing and patient characteristics for individual practices or surgeys. A triplicate prescription form is used for data collection, with minimum inconvenience to the doctor. Complete patient confidentially is maintained. Some problems of classification and coding are discussed.Entities:
