Incarcerated hernia.

Abstract

The frequency, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of incarcerated hernia are reviewed on the basis of a case series collected from two departments of general surgery. Various aspects of hernial incarceration are discussed and some conclusions concerning management are presented.
